Registered Massage Therapy

Touch is one of the oldest and most important healing techniques – Registered Massage Therapists provide hands-on treatments and soft-tissue manipulation to address pain, tension and other symptoms.

Hands-On Relief

Whether it’s for sports injury, pain management or just relaxation, our Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) have the experience and training in advanced techniques that will help clients find relief.

Using hands, fingers, forearms or even elbow contact, our skilled RMTs will help you release restrictions, adhesions and tensions and encourage muscle relaxation. By relieving tension in the muscles, fascia and connective tissue, massage therapy encourages the nervous system to relax, so that maximum healing can occur.

RMTs are licensed healthcare providers in BC and provide effective treatment for a wide variety of symptoms and conditions.

Healing Touch

  • A Customized Approach

On your first visit, our RMTs will assess you and develop a customized treatment plan that suits your specific needs and preferences, including depth of pressure, speed and friction. They take care to listen to your history ahead of time, and encourage communication during the visit if you need additional changes or adjustments.

  • A Range of Techniques

RMTs are skilled in a number of disciplines that can be incorporated into treatment to meet a patient’s unique needs, including Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Release, Dermo-neuro Modulation, Prenatal Massage, joint mobilization and exercise therapy.

  • Finding Relief

Massage therapy is a very effective treatment for chronic pain, injuries, recovery accidents, posture and movement problems, muscle tension and sciatica. Although the science is not yet clear, its true impact on the body seems to be by way of the nervous system. The effect of massage therapy on the nervous system promotes subsequent changes in the tissues.

"Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are a regulated health profession in all Canadian provinces, which means they have advanced training in anatomy, physiology and are experienced working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team."
